A Formal Choice
RETURN AND REFUND POLICIES

- An In-Stock gown (sale or regular priced) - Listed as
In stock- shown on the In stock pages- shipped the same day you order.
- A Special Ordered Bridesmaids or Bridal Gown - You have
chosen the size and color to have the gown made for you. Shipped
between 5-13 weeks from your order date.
- An "IN-STOCK at our Manufacturer" Gown - Our
manufacturer has this gown in stock at the factory and is generally a 2 week delivery.
- In Store Purchases in Puyallup WA.
INTERNET ORDERS:

Special Orders and In stock at Manufacturer gowns -(bridesmaids, bridal,
mothers, and specialty prom) are non-refundable or returnable.
What if my special ordered gowns does not fit when I get it?
The most important thing is to try and prevent an ill-fitting dress.
Call us first and discuss fit with Naomi, or simply email your questions to
us. We will answer within 24 hours (probably less than 2 hours). We are experts on all of the
gowns pictured, and with some information that you supply - we can tell you
exactly how your dress will fit. Make sure
you have your measurements taken properly before you call so we can discuss
how each gown fits. We have an extremely low incident of returns on formal
gowns when we advise on fit , as we know exactly how
they fit and will discuss that with every customer.
- Bridals & Bridesmaids and Prom Gowns are non-refundable if they have been specially ordered
(or in-stock at Manufacturer) for
you,

HOWEVER they usually have 5/8" finished seams on each side 5/8" finished seams on each side and at the
zipper for alterations
(5/8 for maids and 1.0 for bridals) which will equal a total of at least
1"when
let out. These gowns are MADE TO BE ALTERED. If
you consult with us, we guarantee fit to your measures that you have given
us!! WE do not guarantee the length of ANY seam allowance. We cannot
guarantee YOUR measurements. WE do guarantee that the dress will be cut
to the exact size chart measures. These are not cut to YOUR measures, but the
size chart.
In-stock at Manufacturer gowns can be exchanged with a 35% restock fee,
or refunded for a 40% restock fee if fit problems are due to wrong measures given by
customer, or wrong size chosen by customer. An additional shipping cost
will also be necessary. We can usually reduce the shipping cost when it is
an exchange
- If dress is not cut to posted measurements we will refund or exchange 100%
of cost and postage.
All returned gowns will immediately be measured for accurate cutting when
they are returned. In the event it
is quoted that A Formal Choice will pay for a replacement gown, and after return
of gown it is determined that the gown is cut properly – customer must pay the
reduced cost for a replacement gown and all postage costs associated with the
re-order before a replacement will be mailed to customer

SERIOUS FIT/WRONG ORDERS on Special Order gowns.
Section 1.
A Formal Choice will Re-Order a Special Order Gown at our
cost and expense under the following circumstances:

Gown in defective
-
Gown does not measure the posted measurements on our website.

Knowing the measurements of the customer and they are kept on
file, A Formal Choice recommended to purchase a smaller size than the
customers measurements. EXCEPTION if it is noted on order that customer
agrees, and knows, alterations will be needed when gown arrives and may be
too large/small because measurements are too large/small for one specific
area of the body- this will then be exempt. .

A wrong size/ color / style is ordered by A Formal Choice
Section 2
A Formal Choice will Re-Order a Special Order Gown at a
reduced cost for the customer when a gown does not fit properly due to the
following circumstances:

Improper measurements were taken by customer

Wrong size selected by customer
-
Customer selected a size that A Formal Choice advised against
POSTAGE
FOR RE_ORDERS
- Postage
& Rush for all gowns under Section 1 will be paid for by A Formal Choice
- Postage
& Rush for all gowns under Section 2 will be paid for by Customer.
- Gowns
under section 2 cannot be altered in ANY WAY When returned to AFC.
Gowns under section 1 can be returned if alteration attempts that are
pre-approved by A Formal Choice fail.
All returned gowns will immediately be measured for accurate cutting when
they are returned. In the event it
is quoted that A Formal Choice will pay for a replacement gown, and after return
of gown it is determined that the gown is cut properly – customer must pay the
reduced cost for a replacement gown and all postage costs associated with the
re-order before a replacement will be mailed to customer
The fastest we can get a replacement gown to a customer is 5 weeks.
The reduced cost of replacement gown will include (if necessary) Quick
Delivery charge and Postage

- All internet in-stock ( at our store) -orders are returnable within 8 days of shipping to your

- and original sales receipt/packing slip
- It is
purchasers' financial responsibility to ship back to A FORMAL CHOICE
at 5515 81st ST E. Puyallup, WA 98371. Shipping
charges are non-refundable. Exchanged items will be issued a new
(reduced if possible) shipping charge when re-sent - this
must be pre-paid before new item will be mailed. All returns/
exchanges will be issued a refund in same manner as paid (check/money
order/charge).
